The mission of the Davis Art Center Gallery is to further the appreciation and understanding of the visual arts in the Davis community and surrounding region.

To accomplish this mission, the DAC Gallery serves the community in a variety of ways:

• As a venue for a diverse array of artistic media, from drawing and painting to site specific installation.
• As a non-profit space where work can be displayed which may not find an outlet in the region's commercial galleries.
• As a resource and annual exhibition venue for area students.
• As a casual and comfortable setting where art can be viewed, free of charge, by the entire community.

With approximately eight exhibitions per year, the DAC Gallery serves year-round as an educational resource for children and adults.
